a participatory mapping of urban ground conditions
A six-month collaborative mapping project that brought together residents, scientists, and designers to document and analyze the soil conditions of vacant lots across Cleveland's East Side. The resulting index was used by community organizations to identify sites for urban agriculture, ecological remediation, and green infrastructure.
